If you are finding that nothing makes you happy and wondering what to do about it, below are some ideas to help you pull yourself out of the state you are finding yourself in.
It might sound too simplistic, but for some people with only transient feelings of a lack of enjoyment, changing your mindset might be all that is required. Refuse to strive and nobody can be said to strice with you. It only blows up in our face when we expect a certain outcome for the things we do. Expectations are demons, just be the best you can be, continue working hard and being a kind human with no expectation and watch how the good little things start adding up.
I keep a gratuity journal. No matter how little. It helps me appreciate the good. That sounds like a great idea. Rebecca, it helps also if you can say out the three things. Ideally to someone else. If not, to yourself in a mirror with a big smile! I would also say that it does not have to be three things from that day. Could be four good things from the last week that can be repeated. You okay? Life will always be hard. It will throw situations at you whether you like it or not unfortunately.
It makes us stronger in the end. Learn to swerve out of the way and keep going. It is hard to comment on this one but definitely I will. In my experience, shit happens. Julia, you seem like an amazing person. Hold your head, high honey, you deserve to. Yep, I do feel like that a lot of the time. That's my current situation. I just got a job I know I'd love but my boyfriend wants to break up, which means I'm gonna have to move out of his place and to a different city because I don't have anywhere else to go. And the place I'm moving to is somewhere where I have very bad memories and I hate it. Not only am I losing someone I love more than anything, I'm losing my place to live and my job, and everything is just falling apart.
