Bounced messages normally consist of two parts. The first contains the reason for the bounce; the second contains your original message. The most common reason for a failed delivery is that the email address you entered isn't valid. If the Mailer Daemon says that the account doesn't exist, double-check the spelling of the address you entered. A single misplaced letter can be enough to cause a failed delivery.

Compromised or spoofed accounts. If you've received the mailer-daemon mail message in any other way then let us know the full message and exactly what email address it was sent to i. Like below to appreciate my help. The supposed address that is undeliverable is different each time. I'm wondering if this means my email has been "hacked" or if it's a phishing scam of some kind? Parts of it appear to be a link, which I did not click on. Just wondering if I have a problem?
Junil Maharjan either you have been hacked or it is a spam message for scamming. Oron Joffe Terri, no. As macwitty points out, it is trivially easy to pretend to be someone else in an email. All you need to do is alter the "From:" line, which most email programs will let you do!
Bruce Epper I would first suspect it is a phishing attempt. Sometimes it will contain an attachment the original message that bounced. Wrong Address The mailer-daemon message can tell you if you sent an email to an address that doesn't exist, which indicates that you or the person who setup an email link may have made a typographical error when entering the email address.
Address No Longer Exists You may receive a mailer-daemon message from Yahoo because an address you sent an email to no longer exists. Email is Full While Yahoo Mail offers unlimited storage, the recipient's email service may not. Message is too Big Yahoo email supports a maximum attachment file size that is increased over time. Server Error A sever error when routing the email from one address to the other can produce a mailer-daemon message.
Compromised Account If you are receiving dozens to hundreds of mailer-daemon messages, particularly for emails that you did not send, it is an indication that your account may be compromised. References Yahoo!
