But, you can get more audience by spending considerable time on Instagram. But, what if you do not have much time to spend on Instagram?
Other points except the last one will require a lot of efforts, time and money. You need to spend a lot of your precious time on these campaigns. So, the last option seems more convenient. To buy real Instagram followers.
But, why should you buy Instagram followers? You need to be very careful about choosing the right service provider. But how do you do that? And, I don't think it's that Apple feels they don't like low-cost marketing. By that theory Microsoft would not post on social, either. Apple doesn't need to increase brand awareness, but neither does FedEx or Sony. One last dead end: You might think Apple has chosen specifically to avoid social media because they want to tightly control the flow of information, news, and product announcements.
Yet, other major tech companies, namely Dell and Microsoft, have a rock solid presence that is incredibly well orchestrated. You just don't see random tweets by people who may or may not be on message.
I'm surprised there isn't at least an Apple Genius account on Twitter. There are many social media managers available now for large companies, such as Radian6 , that could make it easier to manage social. There's one simple reason Apple doesn't bother with social. The company obviously doesn't need it. They tend to work with a few hand-picked journalists about news and let everyone else on the planet post on social media once they hear the news.
The company has almost stores stocked with Apple Genius staff for handling support issues. Apple is the one tech company that doesn't need to bother with social media. Ironically, it is often social media that creates the firestorm of interest in their products. What do you think? Is it just because Apple doesn't like these services?
